Chicago tech hub, Blue 1647 Founder Emile Cambry recently interviewed the creators of Silicon Harlem, a social enterprise dedicated to transforming Harlem into a hub for technology and innovation, as a part of a weekly column for Jet Magazine.
The interview focuses on Silicon Harlem’s grass roots beginning as a Meet-Up group, and goes on to discuss the issue of getting more blacks into the Tech World and recent events hosted by the group. All in all the interview was a quick but informative read, and I highly suggest that anyone interested in building a S.T.E.M. foundation for our youth take a look at this column, as well as future columns.
